WELCOME TO TULALIP EARLY LEARNING ACADEMY

EXCELLENCE IN EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION

At Betty J. Taylor Early Learning Academy (BJTELA), we focus on early childhood education. Our center, which sits on 4 acres overlooking Tulalip Bay, serves children from birth to age 6. We’re thrilled to announce that we now offer kindergarten in addition to our existing preschool and Montessori classes.

BJTELA offers an Early Head Start program for children from birth to 3 years old and a preschool program for children aged 3 to 5. The preschool program includes different options, such as ECEAP and Montessori. BJTELA believes that every child should have access to quality education. Eligible students can attend school for free.

Referral Services

REFERRAL SERVICES

BJTELA provides referral services to children and families including Music Therapy, Reflective Network Therapy, Speech Therapy, and we partner with Marysville School District to provide Developmental Preschool. Learn More →

At the Betty J. Taylor Early Learning Academy, we honor parents as children’s first teachers. We engage children, families, and our community in developing strong cultural values and traditions through our huyadadc?? (our ways) curriculum and engagement opportunities. In preparation for success in home, school, and community settings, children’s development will be achieved through language, culture, and educational experiences.

Our Vision

At the Betty J. Taylor Early Learning Academy, we partner with families and the community to support children through opportunities of cultural teaching and values, emotional regulation, school readiness, and exposure to the Lushootseed language to develop the foundation for lifelong learning. We honor children through our whole child approach.

UNLIMITED ACCESS TO CHILDREN NOTICE

“Parents will have unlimited access to their children while in care, following the DCYF policies for all licensed child care providers. At BJTELA, access is available through visualization of the child in classroom through windows, or by taking the child into the Family Room for a visit, and/or picking up their child at any time.”
