Preschool

Established 1993

Our Mission:

Educate the whole child by using the child-centered Montessori philosophy and curriculum. We nurture the child's love and learning; create opportunities for growth and independence to provide positive learning experiences.

Teacher – Child Ratio:

Our children are capable and confident in our Lushootseed language, our cultural values, teachings, academics, and in life based on strong families, community, traditional lifeways, and a coordinated early learning education system. Our children are life–long learners.

3-5 Preschool classrooms are limited to 18 children with one teacher and two assistants. We are currently serving 10 classrooms.
Total capacity is 180 children.

Our low ratio helps meet the individual educational goals of children and their families. Children have daily exposure to Tulalip Native American Language and Culture. Teachers promote hands on learning while helping children develop critical thinking. Child centered activities and creative curriculum are used with skill building as well as other research-based academic and social curriculum.
