Birth – 3

Mission Statement

We exist to provide a holistic and inclusive program through effective teaching practices and collaborative partnerships. We do this by empowering children and families to become successful life-long learners and responsible citizens within a culturally diverse community.

For the benefit of our children and their learning environment, we have chosen a lower teacher–to–child ratio compared to state standards.

Birth – 3 years old: Classrooms are limited to eight children with two teachers and one assistant. We are currently serving 14 classrooms. Total capacity is 112 children.

Our low ratio helps meet the individual educational goals of children and their families. Children have daily exposure to Tulalip Native American language and culture. Teachers promote hands on learning while helping children develop critical thinking. Child centered activities and a creative curriculum are used with skill building as well as other research-based academic and social curriculums.
